Hey.
You know what? I haven't thought of dying. For a while now.
It's been really nice meeting friends. I want to live for them. Now my life does have a purpose after all. It's difficult being so busy and having so much to do, and thinking of how to earn a living, but it's better than being sad and lonely.

Catherine, I am overjoyed that I have played a part in giving you something to live for. I hope one day that you will find that mere existence itself presents reasons enough to live. It is a dificult concept to master. I hope, one day, to be able to master it myself.
In the meantime, if we hold ourselves up by pulling on each other's bootstraps, then let us declare that good enough. It is, after all, what friendship is all about.
